As the above chart indicates, there are currently 40 Article III (lifetime tenure) vacancies in the federal courts, including 3 in the appellate courts and 37 in district courts. (see vacancies and nominations.)
Pending nominations to fill these vacancies expired with the adjournment of the 118th Congress (2023-2025) on January 3, 2025. The 119th Congress (2025-2027) convened on that date.

Thus far, President Trump has made no judicial nominations to fill federal court vacancies.
President Biden during his four years in office (2021-2025) had 235 of his judicial nominations confirmed, 1 to the Supreme Court, 45 to the appellate courts, 187 to the district courts, and 2 to the U.S. Court of Int'l Trade. For a complete confirmation listing, click here.
During President Trump's first four years in office (2017-21), the U.S. Senate confirmed 234 Article III (lifetime tenure) federal judges that he nominated, including 3 Supreme Court justices; 54 judges to the appellate courts; 174 judges to the district courts; and 3 judges to the Court of Int'l Trade.
