Click on the above Michigan Court Structure link, which opens the “Welcome to the State Court Structures” page. On the left-hand side of the page, scroll down and select "PDF Summary." Then, on the right-hand side of the PDF Summary page, select Michigan. This provides a comprehensive overview of Michigan's court structure, with details on the jurisdiction of the courts that comprise each level. CSP Case Types, as shown for each court in the chart, refer to that court’s jurisdiction as determined by the Court Statistics Project of the National Center for State Courts, the organization that produced the information provided here. For explanation of other abbreviations used in the chart, scroll down to the bottom of the court structure page.

The National Assoc. of Counties offers links to county websites for each state, featuring county government and court officials.

To access Michigan county websites, click on the National Assoc. of Counties website and select “Find a County” from the menu.

A nationwide interactive map will appear, and you can select the appropriate Michigan county from the map. Alternatively, you can type the name of the county in the upper-right search box.

When you access the county page you are seeking, under County Contact click on the county website link, which takes you to the county government website.
